This 1947-OK-HD is our heavy duty design of our 13" clutch kit with a 3" wide premium Organic lining. Perfect for moderate tuning and heavy towing while maintaining smooth engagement.

The South Bend Clutch HD Series clutch disc features a 13" double wide, high torque clutch facings with heavy duty 6 spring dampening system.

This clutch is designed for the moderately increased horsepower trucks, 425 hp 900 torque. offering a very smooth engagement with light pedal effort.

The perfect towing clutch.

The pressure plate comes straight from our street series, dual disc clutch, with the extra wide casting and heavy duty design.

NOTE: It's very important to Break-In your clutch with 500 miles of stop and go driving before you pull a load. Your clutch will last longer if you avoid down-shifting whenever possible.  Down-shifting flexes the pressure plate, causing uneven wear.  Just remember, Use your breaks instead--they're are alot less expensive to replace!

    Clutch kit arrived well packaged. Engagement is quicker than stock but not as harsh as ceramic. Pedal pressure is light enough to keep me happy with stock hydraulics. Shifts are smooth. I put this kit on a 2000 Dodge with a NV4500 that has an upgraded input shaft and starter spacer previously installed from running a dual disk setup before.

    100% satisfied with this clutch! Installed in May of 2017 and it’s april 2019 and it’s still as good as when I first bought it! Gary at BlackCloud is amazing to work with and will gladly help you with anything that you need! Black Cloud is the ONLY performance shop I will use in the future!
