South Bend Clutch Heavy Duty Stock Clutch Kit is an excellent choice for replacing the stock clutch on a 5 speed Ford Powerstroke diesel pickup truck with no upgrades. Includes heavy duty single/solid mass flywheel to replace the factory dual mass flywheel! Kit Includes: Flywheel, Clutch Disc, Pressure Plate & Throwout and Pilot Bearings. All clutch kits include everything needed to do the job including our Kevlar pilot bushing.

NOTE: It's very important to Break-In your clutch with 500 miles of stop and go driving before you pull a load.
Your clutch will last longer if you avoid down-shifting whenever possible.  Down-shifting flexes the pressure plate, causing uneven wear. Just remember, Use your breaks instead--they're are alot less expensive to replace!

    This clutch replaced the thoroughly worn out stock dual mass set-up on my 1995 Ford 7.3 Powerstroke with the ZF5 transmission. It all went in perfectly. I was concerned about gear roll over noise with the single mass flywheel. There is ZERO noise in any gear or in neutral with the clutch out. The clutch pedal is noticeably easier to push. Shifting is very smooth. There is a very slight 'grabbiness' to the clutch compared to the stock clutch, but is of no concern. Definitely the 'Hot Set-Up"!
